Dear Mahjongfriends,
Lucky us, time goes by quickly and so the third “Open European Mahjong Championship” is going to take place soon.
Especially we, the Austrians, are very happy to be entrusted with the holding of this major event, although we are quite a young organisation.
Participants from Europe, Asia and America will test their skills against each other. Participants, unfashionable, can not expect material advantage from their success but nevertheless 160 will come.
So it is the joy at the mental exercise and the friendships made cross frontiers and oceans, which are the main driver to visit Mahjong events of the EMA and the WMO. Soon let us celebrate our Non-Profit-event.
Unfortunately not everybody who wants, to may assist.
Anyway I wish you all much joy and happiness at the qualifications, and if you are not lucky this time?.... no problem......2010 is the next WMO and OEMC 2011 is not to far ahead.
